
James Yocom
Director of Instructional Media Services and IT Communications
Jim Yocom serves as Director of Instructional Media Services for the IU South Bend campus. In this role, Yocom directs and administers the operations of Media Services, Classroom Technology Services, and South Bend UITS Communications, and serves as an advocate for the development and use of instructional technology and media in teaching and research. For five of his more than fifteen years as Director of IMS, Yocom worked directly with the Library and Academic Affairs, supporting and advancing learning technology and instructional media in the University Center for Excellence in Teaching and Distance Learning program.
